By default our web-server collects some information. The information is stored in two databases called "access logs" and "error logs".

These logs have three purposes:

If many users try to access a page that does not exist, an automatic redirect may be implemented.
To enforce our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
To maintain security and proper functioning of the server and website.

Missing resources (.css, .js, etc.)

2. Voluntary Information – Contact Form Operated by Us

If you submit a contact form created by umail.br.gy, we may collect:

Name
Email address
Subject
Message content

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you. We do not sell or rent this information.

3. User-Generated Contact Forms – Platform Role

Users may create and publish their own contact forms. These forms are not reviewed, scanned, or monitored prior to publication.

We do not access, read, monitor, scan, or store submissions except where technically necessary for transmission or required by law. Users are solely responsible for content, compliance with privacy laws, and child-protection laws.

4. Reporting Violations

umail.br.gy is not aware of violations unless reported. To report, provide the full URL of the form, including the form token (example: https://umail.br.gy/form?f=<form code>). Upon notice, we may review and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination.

5. Account Creation

Users may create accounts. Collected info includes:

First name
Last name
Email address
Username
Password
Invite key (if enabled)

6. Data Retention

Information is retained only as necessary to provide services, maintain accounts, enforce agreements, comply with law, or maintain security. Server logs are retained for operational and security purposes. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect info from children under 13. Compliance with COPPA rests with the user operating the form. If proper notice is received regarding a violation, we may investigate and take action.

8. Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)

Virginia residents have rights under VCDPA including access, correction, deletion, and opt-out. Requests may require identity verification.

9. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users must safeguard login credentials.

10. Platform Status and Liability

umail.br.gy is an interactive computer service provider. We are not the publisher or speaker of user-generated content. We do not assume responsibility for content, misuse of information, or legal violations by users. Action is taken only upon proper notice.

We may update this policy. Continued use of the site indicates acceptance.
